At Parish National we apply innovative solutions to the process of banking. Accounts and services enjoyed by our customers are unique and informative. Even our checking account statement is different!

The backbone of our innovation is the image processing system. It provides advantages to us and our customers... advantages unavailable from traditional bank environments. This technology provides the high tech account servicing of the future, but is a reality to our customers today. When Parish National began working with the image system in 1993, there were only two banks in the country on the system. As a progressive community bank, we have participated in development of this technology, acting as a training and demonstration site for banks around the United States, Canada, South America and Europe.

 State-of-the-Art Imaging

What is imaging? Image processing utilizes the digital images of various documents to interact with our account processing. The efficiency of the system is evident in our day-to-day operations and account research. It allows us to accept your transaction as late as 4:00 PM for same day credit. The digital image is a sophisticated, crystal clear, permanent copy of the front and back of the check or deposit that is protected from alteration or damage.

 Organization

What does imaging provide me as a customer? Information...and a more organized, easier to balance statement. Images of your checks appear in check number order with the amount and date posted printed clearly below each item. No more sorting through mounds of cancelled checks. And you can get rid of your shoebox full of old statements. Everything comes to you printed on three-hole punched paper; we'll even give you a binder when you open the account!

 Convenience

Once we stop chasing the paper around, service possibilities are endless. In fact, you may elect to have your statement e-mailed to you. We have also developed a system that allows account information to be imported into your PC budgeting software. Or, we can free you from it altogether by producing the reports for you. Take a look at the Organized Checking product in our personal account section for more information.

 Commercial Advantages

Are there special advantages for commercial account holders? You bet. CD-RAMA: Commercial Deposit Research and Management Assistant. It is a tool that lets you do your own account research of check images on CD-ROM. CD-RAMA includes your items deposited, too! That's right, every check deposited into your account for credit will be digitally imaged and provided on the CD. This has never been available to commercial account holders before. You can research customer payments to your company as well as checks you've written. You can even print a copy of the customer's check, instead of asking him to furnish a copy for proof of payment.
